Paver Patio Installation – Outdoor Living Tip of the Day

Every step of installing a beautiful and durable Paver Patio requires artistry and skill. Let’s examine how to build a Paver Patio professionally and precisely.

Dig Out: Excavate the area to prepare the Paver Patio foundation. Patio stability and longevity depend on depth and levelness.

After excavation, a strong, compacted Aggregate Base Composite (ABC) is laid. ABC, made of crushed stone and other materials, supports the patio. ABC compaction creates a stable base for pavers.

Screenings: After compacting the ABC, screenings or stone dust is applied. Screenings fill gaps and make paver laying smooth.

Pavers: Beautiful Belgard Savannah Cambridge Cobble Pavers are essential for durability and aesthetics. To match the Outdoor Living space’s design, these pavers are laid in a herringbone or checkerboard pattern.

SnapEdge & Nails: SnapEdge perimeter restraint systems keep pavers in place. These sturdy edging materials keep the patio stable. SnapEdge is fastened with galvanized steel nails for durability.

After pavers are laid, polymeric sand is swept into the joints. Water hardens this special sand, locking pavers together and preventing weed growth.
