Black Polymeric Sand
The Outdoor Living Tip of the Day is Black Polymeric Sand. Built in Charlotte near uptown, this Belgard Old World Belgian Stone paver has Black Polymeric Sand in the joints. The purpose of polymeric sand is to prevent weeds from growing and to help bond the pavers together. These joints are unusual because of the expansive spacing between the Old World pavers. This maintenance free polymeric sand material is used on almost every properly built paver patio. However, this is our first time using Black sand and Old World. Great teamwork to help create an outstanding new Outdoor Living look.
