French Drain – Outdoor Living Tip of the Day

Here in Masons Bend (Fort Mill, SC) a trench has been dug then filled with 67 stone gravel and underneath a 10’ long perforated pipe that redirects surface (standing) water. This unique drainage solution is called a French Drain. Some new Bermuda sod on top and river rock adjacent to the drain will also help with future water erosion and drainage issues.
