Pipeouts are the Outdoor Living Tip of the Day

What are they?

In the landscaping industry, burying 4” black corrugated pipe is called a Pipeout. We also use downspout adapters, Y connectors, catch basins and more to maximize the drainage flow. It’s a good idea to get the water from off your roof, down the downspouts, and underground (pipeouts) away from the foundation of your home. Your lawn and planting beds will also appreciate not having all that excess water.

The Process

  1. Dig a really big hole
  2. Install the dry well
  3. Connect the drain tube
